The Walker Company Team

Larry Walker Larry W. Walker, President, has served in a number of health care leadership positions, including Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mt. Hood Medical Center, (Gresham, Oregon) and director of Legacy Health, a Portland, Oregon health care system, and two of its predecessor organizations. He founded The Walker Company in 1991, after spending over 18 years as a publishing executive. Larry has worked with health care clients nationwide on a broad range of assignments, including governance development, leadership workshops and retreats, market research, and more.
   
Cindy Fineran Cindy Fineran, Senior Consultant, has sixteen years of experience in the health care field, with particular expertise in regulation and compliance. She was a vice-president of sales and director of regulatory affairs for two large northwest health insurance companies, and has extensive experience in strategic planning, regulatory compliance and organizational effectiveness. She has directed compliance with state and federal regulation, internal, state and CMS audits, and was selected as one of seventeen initial participants in her company’s regional pilot program for executive development. As a vice-president of sales, Cindy directed a team of thirty individuals. She became a consultant with The Walker Company in November 2008.
   
Nicole Matson Nicole Matson, Senior Consultant, earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Administration at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon in 2001. She received a Masters Degree in Health Policy and Management from Oregon State University in June 2003, during which time she completed a six-month internship with The Walker Company. After graduation Nicole became a health care analyst at Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon, where she performed data collection and analysis, created reports and presentations regarding utilization and cost trends for employer groups and providers, and assisted with validation and implementation of a clinical grouping software program. She became a consultant with The Walker Company in January 2004.
   
Vone Indra

Vone Yee, Consultant, earned Bachelors of Science degrees in both health policy and management and business administration from Oregon State University in 2008.  She began work with The Walker Company as an undergraduate intern, and was hired as an executive assistant in October 2008.  Over the course of her work she has gained experience and provided exceptional background and technical support to The Walker Company and its clients, including project tracking, data analysis, presentation design and development, developing proposals, and maximizing the company’s effective use of technology.  She was promoted to Consultant in November 2011.
